3M 2097 Particulate Filter

The 3M 2097 P100 Particulate Filter delivers exceptionally high-efficiency respiratory protection alongside specialized relief from nuisance level organic vapors. Designed with Advanced Electret Media, this lightweight, flame-resistant filter offers low breathing resistance and a slim, low-profile design that integrates seamlessly with welding shields. It provides at least 99.97 percent filtration efficiency against both oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants, including lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, silica, mold, and MDA. Featuring a magenta color code under the NIOSH system, this filter is highly versatile. It features a secure, quick quarter-turn bayonet connection that fits a wide range of half and full facepiece respirators. While protecting against airborne particles, it also filters out unpleasant, nuisance-level organic odors that fall below the Permissible Exposure Limit, making it an excellent choice for hot, dusty, or odorous jobs. Note: Nuisance level organic vapor relief applies only to concentrations below the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit. Do not use this product as primary respiratory protection against organic vapors or in environments immediately dangerous to life or health.
